Meanwhile, a large fascist meeting was held this afternoon on Bethnal Greene and an even larger rally was scheduled for tonight at Dalston, a Jewish populated section of London, which has been the scene of several disturbances. In a statement issued today, Scotland Yard said that the situation was being closely watched and that tonight a record number of police will be present at the fascist meetings to prevent violence.
Jeffrey Hamm, leader of the fascist British League of Ex-Servicemen, stated during the week-end that he is preparing the way for the return to the political scene of Sir Oswald Mosley, pre-war fascist leader.
