British Jews Not to Be Expelled by Italy, London Believes

Official British circles today were inclined to believe that the Italian decree for expulsion of foreign Jews would not affect British Jews. These circles said information had been received from Rome that the Italian Government’s attitude toward the British Jews would be “reasonable” and declared they would be surprised to hear that any British Jews in Italy had been ordered expelled.
