British Jews will raise $1,200,000 for the Jewish National Fund during 1946, it was decided here last night at the annual conference of the British JNF.
The 300 delegates adopted a resolution demanding repeal of the regulations which restrict the purchase of land in Palestine by Jews. Among the speakers was F.M. Landau, representing the Board of Deputies of British Jews, who declared that British Jewry must appear united before the Anglo-American inquiry committee and stress that Palestine is the centre of the entire problem.
