A report on the extent of Arab propaganda in colleges and universities in this country was made today to the Board of Deputies of British Jews by its Defense Committee, following information that such activity was widespread.
The report indicated that of 35 educational institutions surveyed, 25 had no organized Arab society and that Arab student activity in the way of meetings and propaganda was confined to only a few. Nevertheless, the report added, the situation calls for continued watchfulness. “One interesting result of the survey,” the report noted, “was that it revealed that in many of these institutions personal relations between Jewish and Arab students were cordial.”
