A Labor Party pledge to continue its fight “against a re-emergence of Fascism” in Britain was contained today in a letter from George Brown, deputy leader of the party, to the Poale Zion Executive.
“One development which has caused the Labor Party serious concern, particularly in the past year, is the growth of Fascist and other racialist propaganda, ” the British leader declared. He noted that this development had been condemned by the national executive committee of the party at its recent Brighton conference. He also wrote that the party had urged introduction of legislation to ban both public incitement of racial hatred and the practice of racial discrimination in public places.
