British military authorities today officially announced their intention to use German war prisoners for work in Palestine. They added that the Germans will be used on construction of military installations in the Gaza area of southern Palestine.
To Jewish protests, a spokesman said: “The employment of this German forced labor is a matter of military necessity.”
