The loyalty and devotion of British Jews to Great Britain was lauded here last night by Colonial secretary James Griffiths, speaking at the annual Jewish Remembrance Day exercises.
The Secretary pointed out that all people must learn to live or perish together. “In our world,” he stated, “we must learn respect and understanding of each other.” A number of government leaders participated in the afternoon’s parade and the evening’s meeting in memory of the Jewish war dead.
