The London Times today reports that Lord Carlisle, chairman of the United Kingdom Corporation, which recently concluded a British Empire Trade Conference in Jerusalem, returned from Palestine to Turkey with an extremely favorable impression of Palestinian industrial activity. Lord Carlisle was particularly pleased with the production of boots, mess tins, water bottles and nails, all essential war materials.
