The regional commissioner for the North Rhine-Westphalia area of the British zone of Germany has announced that requisitioned furniture allotted by German authorities to racial and political persecutees is exempt from any decrees requiring the return of such furnishings. The decision was issued following a request by the authorities that a large number of Jews return furniture given them.
