The British Government’s handling of Middle Eastern affairs, particularly its relations with Egypt, will come under heavy opposition fire tomorrow when Winston Churchill will open a debate on Middle East affairs and is expected to assail the government’s handling of the Empire Roach case and the Egyptian blockade of Israeli-bound shipping through the Suez Canal. Prime Minister Clement C. Attlee and Foreign Secretary Herbert Morrison are expected to present the Government case. The debate is expected to have some bearing on the British position in the United Nations Security Council consideration of the Israeli complaint against Egypt.
