British Prime Minister Tony Blair reportedly turned down a request from Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to meet in London next week. Israel’s Army Radio reported that Blair is concerned that human rights groups would want to arrest Sharon after the BBC aired a documentary this week in which some lawyers said Sharon could be indicted on war crimes charges in connection with the massacre of Palestinian civilians by Christian militiamen during the 1982 Lebanon War.
