The latest addition to the growing number of Yiddish courses is the one to be offered as part of its series of lectures by the Bronx Borough-Wide Association of Public and High School Teachers. It has decided to give a course in Yiddish literature in the curriculum for its members.
The Association invited the Yiddish essayist and critic, Chaim Lieberman to give this course with particular emphasis on Yiddish literature in America. Mr. Lieberman accepted the invitation and the course will begin next-fall. Dr. Hirsdansky, principal of P.S. 4, Bronx, was the sponsor of the course.
