Rabbi Louis Katzoff of Brooklyn has just been appointed campus rabbi at the University of Pennsylvania, a post newly created by the Philadelphia branch of the United Synagogue to fill a desired need among the Jewish students both at the University of Pennsylvania as well as at the Temple College, it was announced here.
Rabbi Katzoff was graduated Sunday from the Jewish Theological Seminary, where he served as member and chairman of the cultural committee for the past three years. He is well known for his work among Jewish youth.
Until recently he was vice-president of the Young Israel of Williamsburg.
