The observance of Brotherhood Week, which opens Sunday, as an occasion for creating a spirit of “understanding, cooperation and friendliness” among citizens of all faiths and nationalities was urged today by the National Conference of Christians and Jews, which is sponsoring the “Week.” Brotherhood Week was described by the Conference as “a contribution to national defense and national unity.”
