Benjamin G. Browdy of New York was unanimously re-elected president of the Keren Hayesod for a third term at the 31st annual meeting of its board of directors held here today. Mr. Browdy, who is president of the Zionist Organization of America, has been head of the Fund since January 1950. He is also chairman of the Board of directors of the United Israel Appeal.
Other officers elected for the next year included Dr. Nahum Goldmann, chairman of the board of directors. In his annual presidential report at the meeting which was attended by representatives from all Zionist groups in this country, Mr. Browdy announced that during the calendar year from January 1 to December 31, 1951, the Keren Hayesod has made available for Israel the amount of $22,907,343.
