Bruce McDaniel, former director of the U. S. operations mission in Israel, called on the Iowa leadership conference of the United Jewish Appeal last night to rally to Israel’s aid “at this crucial moment in Israel’s history.” He said that “free peoples everywhere should affirm their support of its efforts to build a homeland for refugees and displaced persons.”
