The spectacular trial of the widow and daughter of the late Professor Varszonyi, who are contesting his will which disinherits the daughter of a large fortune in case she marries any one with a “drop of Jewish blood in his veins” came to an end yesterday when the court declared the will invalid.
The court motivated its decision with the statement that the provisions of the will were unmoral. Another reason for the verdict was that the purity of race cannot be proved.
