A demand that Jewish women be mobilized for forced labor was voiced yesterday in the Hungarian parliament by a Budapest deputy, Agoston Eitner, it was reported here today.
At the same time Eitner attacked the Jews who have been sent to forced labor at the Soviet front, charging that they are “demoralizing” the Hungarian troops. According to reports reaching here recently there are almost a quarter of a million Hungarian Jews attached to labor and penal battalions on the Russian front.
