Hungarian newspapers reaching here today report that the pro-Nazi Hungarian government ordered the removal into a special “Yellow House” of all Jews in Budapest who are in possession of protective letters or protective passports issued to them by legations of neutral countries.
All such Jews, the papers reveal, were instructed to move from their homes into the “Yellow House” by November 15. Those refusing to move were notified that they would forfeit the protection of the neutral governments and that all existing anti-Jewish laws would be applied to them.
