The Jewish community of Buenos Aires today gave a farewell dinner to a group of middle class families who are sailing shortly to settle in Israel. The members of the group will live in Kfar Argentina, near Tel Aviv, on a site on Jewish National Fund land in 35 homes erected with their financing.
The Argentine-Israel Chamber of Commerce today marked five years of existence at a luncheon here. Representatives of many types of business and industrial firms spoke at the affair, as did Israel Minister Arieh Kubovi.
