Dr. Boleslao Lewin, Professor of Colonid History at La Plata University, was awarded today the Ricardo Rojas Prize offered by the Buenos Aires Municipality. The award was for his work, “The Rebel Tupac Amaru,” which deals with an 18th Century descendant of the Incas. Prof. Lewin has written several volumes on the history of the Marranos, the Jews forcibly converted to Catholicism.
