Buenos Aires police disclosed today the confiscation of an arms depot and the arrest of a medical student who confessed he was chief of the militia corps of the neo-Nazi Tacuara youth organization to whom the arms belonged.
The police said the arms collection and the student, Ricardo Ramon Viera, 39, were found in a house in the San Martin section of the province of Buenos Aires. They said the arms cache contained several submachineguns, pistols, a carbine, several revolvers, noise bombs, rubber-coated iron clubs, chemical products, detonators and some 200 bullets in a variety of calibers. The arms and the student were handed over to a court.
