The Jewish population of Bukowina will be represented in the Roumanian Parliament and Senate according to an agreement reached between the representatives of Bukowina Jewry and the present Roumanian Government.
The agreement stipulates that the Jewish population be accorded one seat in the Chamber and one in the Senate.
Former Deputy M. Ebener was placed third on the list of the Government candidates. A seat in the Senate has also been accorded. The Bukowina Jews have been urged to support the list of the government.
The demand was formulated at a conference of the Jewish Unity Party of Bukowina held here. The conference decided to demand from the government one seat in Parliament and one in the Senate, and pledged its support of the Government list if the government granted its demand.
