Jews in Nazi-dominated Bulgaria will have to surrender to the Government twenty percent of their entire capital, it was announced today over the Bulgarian radio.
The order imposing a twenty percent levy on Jewish capital went into effect in Bulgaria today, the radio announcer said. It is expected that this measure will yield one-and-a-half billion levas, approximately $15,000,000, to the treasury, he added.
