The major part of the curriculum in Bulgarian Jewish schools will be taught in Hebrew under a new plan for the education of children of minority groups published here by the Ministry of Education.
Only history and geography will be taught in Bulgarian as well as the language itself. In order to prepare Jewish children for continuing their studies in Bulgarian high schools and institutions of higher education, the plan provides that the same number of hours will be spant in Bulgarian language instruction as in Hebrew.
