Bulgaria has promised an early reply to Israel’s claims for $2,650,000 in compensation for an E1 A1 four engine Constellation plane and Israelis among 58 crewmen and passengers killed when Bulgarian fighters shot down the aircraft last summer.
This was revealed here today by an official Foreign Ministry statement which gave a progress report on the negotiations in Sofia in which Shabettai Rosenne, of the Foreign Ministry, and Dr. J. Wagenheim, of E1 A1, pressed Israel’s claims.
