Bulgaria Recognizes Jewish Consistory

Bulgarian Jewry was given the status of a national minority in the country by an act of the government made public yesterday.

The government recognized officially the Central Jewish Consistory which will direct Jewish religious and cultural affairs in Bulgaria.
