Foreign Minister L. Kamjenov of Bulgaria told S.L. Hacohen, head of the Jewish Agency’s European office in Paris, that the Bulgarian Government will, in the future, permit its Jewish citizens to emigrate to Israel and will extend them the necessary assistance.
Hacohen, who has been conferring with Zionist leaders in this country on the present Zionist situation, recent developments in the Jewish state and fund-raising problems for Israel, said after conversations with Kamjenov and Finance Minister S. Stefanov that both Ministers expressed their sympathy for the Jewish state.
