The Sofia radio announced today that the Bulgarian Government has issued housing regulations for Jews which provide that a Jewish family of two is entitled to one room, a family of four to two rooms, and families of more than four persons may occupy a maximum of three rooms. At the same time the Sofia authorities ordered all Jews to surrender radio sets to the police. Failure to do so will be punished severely, the Bulgarian broadcaster stated.
A broadcast on the Belgrade radio today announced that the Serbian Council of Ministers has decreed that all Jewish-owned real estate and other holdings are now the property of the state.
