Small Jewish firms in Bulgaria which did not comply with the government order to liquidate themselves during the week-end, will be taken over by administrators of the Commissariate for Jewish Affairs, the Sofia radio announced today.
Receipts from the sale of these firms will be placed in the Bulgarian National Bank in a blocked account to be used “for the support of the Jewish population,” the announcement said.
