A mass meeting commemorating the third anniversary of the expulsion of the Jews from their homes in Sofia to enforced residence in ghetto villages was held here under the auspices of the Jewish section of the Fatherland Front.
Dimiter Brantanoff, a Socialist deputy in the parliament and a member of the national board of the Fatherland Front, addressing the meeting declared that the “Jews are always among the progressive elements, leading all struggles for justice and righteousness. They have given great leaders in the struggle for people’s rights.”
