Resolutions protesting against the maintenance of the White Paper policy in Palestine have been cabled to Prime Minister Attlee, President Truman and Premier Stalin, following an overflow meeting at the Central Synagogue here.

The meeting, which was called by the Jewish Consistory, held memorial services for the victims of Jewish persecution. It was addressed by leaders of the Consistory, the Zionist movement, and the Jewish section of the Fatherland Front. The resolution cabled to Truman expressed confidence that he would not permit any injustice to the Jews. Attlee was told that the White Paper policy would harm the prestige of the British Labor Party. The message to Stalin expressed the hope that the Soviet would intervene to secure abrogation of the White Paper.
