Disapproval of the anti-Semitic manifestations during a parade of the Hitlerists in the city of Fulnek in Czechoslovakia was expressed by Herr Schubert, the Burgomaster of the city, who is himself a member of the Hitlerist group, in an open letter addressed to the Jewish community of the city.
The parade was held by the Hitlerists after the conclusion of their Convention in Fulnek. The paraders, incensed at the absence of illumination in their honor in two houses belonging to Jews, indulged in abuse against the Jewish inhabitants of the town. The Hitlerists had previously made rounds of the Jewish homes and collected sums for their celebrations.
