Burlington is to have a new $75,000 structure to be known as the city’s Jewish Community Center, if plans discussed at a meeting materialize. The site has not been determined upon, but it is proposed to begin construction work in the spring.
Plans for the building call for a swimming pool, gymnasium, auditorium and facilities for other recreational activities. The funds are to be raised by popular subscription. M. D. Perelman was named chairman of a committee to carry out the plans.
