C.i.o. Convention Demands Admission of 100,000 Displaced Jews to Palestine

The eighth national convention of the C.I.O. now being held here adopted a resolution urging the U.S. Government “to take all necessary measures” to influence the British Government to admit immediately 100,000 Jews from Europe to Palestine.

The resolution also supported the demand that a Jewish Commonwealth in which the rights of all minorities are guaranteed be established in Palestine. It also condemned the British White Paper.
