Durin de Rozieres, the Presidents special advisor for political affairs, the secretary-general of the Presidents Office, was the third French Government personality.

The luncheon event also was attended by former Premiers Pierre Mendes-France and M. Bourges-Manoury, as well as Gabrielle Dorbussin, the Senegalese Ambassador, and Dr. Nahum Goldmann. The French leaders toasted Israelis independence and expressed best wishes for Israelis success and prosperity.
