Professor Samuel Cahan, Jewish instructor at Syracuse University, has resigned, after fourteen years on the faculty of the School of Journalism, in order to give all his time to newspaper work and writing.

During the summer of 1927 he traveled in Russia as a special correspondent for the New York Herald-Tribune and last year he was a member of Governor Lehman’s commission to investigate the costs of education.
