A three-point aid-to-Israel program was adopted at the annual convention of District Grand Lodge No. 4 of B’nai B’rith held in San Jose, California.
The aid-to-Israel program included a recommendation that all members support to the fullest extent the Israel Bond Drive in this country. Among the other resolutions voted at the parley was one to extend aid to the U.S. Armed Forces and the veterans. Also voted were measures to expand the B’nai B’rith youth organization and to promote Americanism contests.
