The California Department of the American Legion, which is holding its annual state convention here, today adopted resolutions condemning persecution of the Jews in Germany by the Hitler regime.
Pro-Nazi organizations here have been very active in recent months in attempting to enlist the support and sympathy of American Legion posts, meeting with conspicuous failure. The Legionnaires have steadfastly refused to cooperate with pro-Nazi organizations here and many of the posts, prior to the convention, went on record as denouncing the persecutions.
