The convocation of a Jewish economic congress in Poland to deal with the devastating situation of the Jewish middle classes was entrusted to a special committee of Jewish economists and public workers elected yesterday at a special conference.
The conference was called to consider measures to create a representative Jewish economic body to consolidate the economic life of the Jews.
