Yehuda Pfeffer, a resident of this city, formerly of the Ukraine, was called by the Paris court to appear as a witness in the Schwartzbard trial.
Mr. Pfeffer was formerly a councillor of the city of Berditscheff. At the time of the Petlura pogroms, he applied to Petlura for permission to bury 23 victims of the progroms.
