A South African Jewish War Appeal for revised and rehabilitation of war victims overseas and in East Africa, was decided with today by 400 delegates attending a conference called by the Board of Deputies of South African Jews.
In a resolution adopted by the conference, the delegates expressed the belief that “the cardinal aim of constructive endeavor must be directed towards the upbuilding of Palestine which is the only country providing an immediate and permanent home for uprooted Jews.”
