A campaign for boycotting non-Christian stores has been launched by an anti-Semitic group which attempts to disguise its true purpose by adopting the name of “Anti-Communist League.”

Appeals have been issued by this League urging Athenians to purchase from Christian Shops only.

A special meeting was summoned last night by the Jewish Communal Council to deal with this matter. Protests were uttered against the attempt to introduce anti-Semitism in the Grecian capital where the Jews constitute such a small minority.

The Jewish population in Athens numbers only 4,000 of a total populace of 800,000.
