Canada Checks Export Laws to Prevent Sale of Aircraft to Either Party in Palestine

A government source here indicated today that the Canadian Government has checked its export regulations to make sure that no aircraft or aircraft parts are permitted to leave the country for use by Arabs or Jews in the Palestine dispute.

A Canadian official, who said that the “only way these people can get planes from any point in Canada, is to smuggle them out,” revealed that an Israeli representative has inquired “Whether Canada would consider selling the Jewish state obsolete planes. Canada has, however, consistently refused to consider the matter, the official added.
