Canada Eyes Israel Trade Potentialities; Firm Ships $2,500,000 Worth of Canned Meat

Terming the state of Israel one of the greatest potential customers of Canadian products, M.A. Gray, member of the provincial legislature, asked the Government of Manitoba to send a trade delegation to Israel to take advantage of the Jewish state’s growing market for many important products of this province.

Mr. Gray pointed out that during the last year one Winnipge firm shipped kosher canned meats valued at $2,500,000 to Israel He also stressed Israel’s continuing and growing need to import such products as meat, livestock, coarse grains, wheat, butter, cheese and textiles, as well as farm machinery, lumber and wood products.
