Canada is prepared to make her contribution toward solution of the European refugee problem, Health Minister Paul Martin who was one of Canada’s delegates to the recent United Nations session in New York, declared here.
Stating that he is “very much perturbed over the situation of the Jewish DP’s in Europe,” Martin insisted that the only possible solution for them lies in an international agreement. He expressed disappointment at the delay in establishing the International Refugee Organization, which only eight nations have thus far agreed to join.
