Announcement was made here that John M. Vechsler, the only Jewish trade commissioner in the service of the Canadian government, has been appointed trade representative of the Dominion in the Republic of Panama.
Mr. Vechsler has been assistant to the Canadian trade commissioner at Chicago and New York. He was awarded honors for service.
