Automobile insurance forms in most of Canada will shortly have eliminated from them questions concerning the race or place of birth of policyholders, it was revealed here by the National Joint Public Relations Committee of the Canadian Jewish Congress and B’nai B’rith.
The Association of Superintendents of Insurance of the Provinces of Canada have instructed all underwriters, except those operating in the province of Quebec, to eliminate such questions from standard automobile insurance forms. This action followed discussion within the association.
