Some 500 delegates attended the 77th semi-annual conference here of the Eastern Canada Council of B’nai B’rith, which closed today. The delegates, representing 115 lodges and chapters in Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic provinces, discussed the B’nai B’rith scholarship plan to provide high school education for children in Israel, and a soldier’s club in Eilat. N. Kapinsky is general chairman of the conference, with Joseph Lieff serving as chairman of the Ottawa coordinating committee.
