The Canadian Jewish Orphans Committee, established several years ago with the purpose of bringing over to Canada Ukrainian Jewish orphans, has assigned $12,000, to the ORT, leaving it to that organization to use the money for whatever it deems it necessary. The money has been forwarded to the New York offices of the ORT via the Colonial Bank of London.
